The VOOPEAK Trail Camera Solar Powered-TC08 offers a solar-powered solution that reduces battery consumption while protecting the environment. This trail camera allows you to capture crystal-clear images and videos without the constant need to replace batteries.
Before your first use, charge the built-in rechargeable battery with the included micro-USB cable and 5V wall outlet charger (not included) for about 8 hours. The rechargeable battery may not perform well in low temperatures or low sunlight conditions, so it is recommended to use 4 high-quality AA alkaline batteries (not included) as a backup.
It's important to note that the solar panel only charges the built-in battery and does not charge the AA alkaline batteries. For optimal performance, we recommend using a Class 10 or higher Micro SD card with a capacity of up to 128GB (not included in the package).
This trail camera is not a webcam, and the Wi-Fi connection and app control have range limits. It is equipped with a 4400mAh built-in power supply that can be charged by the solar panel on top of the camera. Through a hotspot connection, you can preview and download the trail camera pictures and videos on the smartphone app. However, the larger the file size, the longer the Wi-Fi transfer will take. For large files, such as 4K videos, it is recommended to use a wired transfer for more effective file transfer.

Equipped with 36 850nm infrared LEDs, the camera provides a night vision range of up to 65ft, enabling clear night images and videos in total darkness.
The solar-powered design eliminates the need for frequent battery replacements, saving you money and time. However, it is recommended to use 4 AA batteries in low-temperature conditions for better performance. Be sure to charge the solar panel before using the camera.
Through a hotspot connection, you can easily preview and download the camera's pictures and videos using the free smartphone app. (Note: Cellular data on your phone needs to be turned off before connecting to the Wi-Fi.) While this is a Wi-Fi-enabled trail camera, it is not a webcam, and the Wi-Fi connection and app control have range limits, usually around 33ft.
