While using the CareThumb, the child may be able to switch to using the index and middle fingers.
The CareThumb Kit is more effective for treating a child's finger sucking habit because it can be used by connecting the thumb and index finger-middle finger together. However, it is important to note that many children switch from one thumb to the other or switch to the index and middle fingers when the CareThumb is applied. For this reason, we recommend purchasing two treatment kits, one for each hand. When the children switch to the index or middle finger, the CareThumb+finger can be applied together.
